2020 Water Park Season
June 12, 2020
Swimming shouldn’t be such a complicated issue . . . but 2020 seems to be unique in many ways, including the ability to open the Water Park. In order to comply with the Directed Health Measures set out by the State of Nebraska, special procedures have been put in place for this season. The Water Park opened June 29, 2020. The last day of swimming will be Sunday, August 9, 2020.
Hours of Operation:
12:00 to 2:00 p.m. – Swimming Allowed
2:00 to 2:30 p.m. – Pool Closed for Cleaning and Sanitizing
2:30 to 4:30 p.m. – Swimming Allowed
4:30 to 5:00 p.m. – Pool Closed for Cleaning and Sanitizing
5:00 to 7:00 p.m. – Swimming Allowed
7:00 p.m. – Pool Closed for the Day
The cost of admission for each session is $2.00 per person. No pool passes will be available this year. There will be no swimming lessons or private parties. We are doing everything we can to provide access to the swimming pool while still complying with COVID-19 guidelines. The guidelines are in place to ensure the health and safety of those using the pool facilities, the staff needed to operate and maintain the pool, and the family and friends that may be exposed to those individuals. Your cooperation is appreciated. Failure to comply with the Directed Health Measures and the City’s pool rules and regulations may jeopardize the City’s ability to keep the water park open. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak with the Water Park Manager or contact the City office at 308-754-4483.
