The City street infrastructure consists of approximately 27 miles of concrete, brick, asphalt, and gravel streets. The City is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the streets as well as curbs, pedestrian and school crosswalks, traffic control and signage, pavement markings, street sweeping, street grading, mowing and noxious weed control for public right-of-ways and properties, ice control and snow removal operations, and storm damage cleanup.
